VBF is thrilled to announce that Dr. Linda will be hosting our next VBF Facebook Live with Sturge-Weber Syndrome Expert, Dr. Anne M. Comi.
Dr. Comi is the director of the Hunter Nelson Sturge-Weber Center and an associate professor in the Division of Neurology at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins Medicine. Her laboratory research work deals with the pathogenesis of Sturge-Weber syndrome recently shown to be caused by a somatic mutation and on developing new drug targets, screening assays, models and therapeutic strategies for Sturge-Weber syndrome. Dr. Comi is our 2011 VBF Physician of the Year for her groundbreaking research, and for her tireless dedication to our VBF Families.
